Things to Remember

  • Whatever the circumstance that brought you to this site, remember that (almost always) there is a solution.

  • I am an Educational Advocate and provide educational consultant services relative to your child’s educational program and services. I am not an attorney.

  • I am a problem solver, and always look to find the common ground on which to build the solution. The common ground should always be what is best for the child.

  • Special Education is simply identifying the different access roads to learning that are needed for children who learn differently.

  • Please do not get frustrated.

  • Every child has talents and strengths that they bring to school every day; and it is those talents and strengths that will give them support and confidence in their learning.

  • The social/emotional aspect is as important as the academic aspect of education; and sometimes, the social/emotional challenges can get in the way of academic progress.

  • Always remember, “All Children Can Learn!”
